Hi, I'm Michelle, Burnout and Chronic Stress Educator, Licensed Therapist, Coach and Speaker

 

As a therapist in private practice with almost 2 decades of experience in mental health, I too have felt overwhelmed. I've been filled with guilt when I had to choose between my daughter's softball game and the big conference I wanted to attend.

 

I even got so burned out at one point that I could barely drag myself off of the couch in the evenings. 

 

It was finally the wake-up call of an aggressive  cancer diagnosis  that led me to start putting myself first. 

 

It was while working as a therapist, during a pandemic and on chemo that I finally figured out HOW to let go of everything that drained my time and energy. I learned to put my self-care first, no matter what, and to make joy a priority in my life in spite of going through tough times. 

 

Now, I'm on a mission to help other therapist moms do the same, without the scary medical diagnosis.
